Project Objectives

The overall aim of our project is to equip young women with the necessary skills and confidence to enhance their employability and career prospects in cybersecurity, thus contributing to greater gender diversity, inclusivity and resilience in the field.

The specific objectives of the project are to:

  • To develop a comprehensive, engaging and accessible upskilling program exclusively for young women to ignite their interest in cybersecurity and prepare them for entry-level positions in the field.
  • To provide real-world, interactive training exercises that assess and enhance the cybersecurity skills of young women in a fun and competitive environment, thus navigating their journey in cybersecurity and opening doors within the job market.
  • To empower youth educators with the tools and methodologies to effectively facilitate cybersecurity learning for young women in an appealing, interactive, inclusive, and supportive environment so as to inspire and prepare the next generation of female cybersecurity professionals.
  • To ensure widespread promotion, awareness raising, engagement, and utilization of project outcomes for bridging cybersecurity gender and skills gap and building a safer, more resilient digital world for all.
